3 OnlyFans Creators on the Rise of AI Porn — Is It Ethical?
Introduction
The growing ethical debate surrounding AI-generated adult content
They act just like real women. But they're ready to submit to every male desire, they're programmed to please their user, and they don't mind it when they're objectified. Like all new technologies, AI girlfriends can be used for good and evil, but the million-dollar question is: are they ethical?
As AI porn continues to rise in 2025, the need to evaluate the ethics behind the trend becomes more urgent than ever. Since we've spent the last four years testing and reviewing NSFW AI platforms, we assumed our opinion could be biased in favor of AI porn. So, we decided to get some outside help.
Just like when we asked real women if having an AI GF was cheating, we decided to put the issue in the hands of the people who are actually in the loop. This time around, we thought of OnlyFans creators, as they are both independent (meaning they're not associated with major porn studios) and adult-industry professionals.
To ensure variety, we resorted to three very different anonymous OnlyFans creators:
- A well-established OnlyFans female creator
- An up-and-coming model (less than one year on OnlyFans)
- An artist who's known for creating custom AI porn for OnlyFans
We asked them to be as thorough as possible, and we're very happy with their responses. So, witthout further ado, let's look at what each has to say about the ethics of AI porn.
1. Established Creator: "It's unfair for real adult-industry professionals"
"My OnlyFans didn't get a massive following out of nowhere. To make a living as an OnlyFans creator, I had to sacrifice a lot. Even now, most of my money comes from paid custom nudes, sold privately via OnlyFans. But will people continue to buy my real pics if they can just use AI to generate thousands of fake ones?
I think AI porn is unfair for real adult-industry professionals because it uses their own work to make them look obsolete. All these AIs were trained using images of real people having sex and masturbating, and now these AI companies are making money out of them without compensating the original creators. Does that sound fair?
Deepfakes are even worse, because you can just upload my face and make a fake nude of me without my consent! This can be brutal for adult industry professionals, but even more so for real women. I think there will be nothing unethical about AI porn once we fix these gaps and create legislation that TRULY protects creators."
2. Up-and-Coming Model: "I'm worried about hate towards women"
"I started working on OnlyFans a few months ago, and most of my followers are super sweet. But yeah, I have to deal with bad people from time to time, and it sucks. This one guy asked me to roleplay and was making very disturbing demands; when I said I would leave the chat, he called me all kinds of names.
Well, if a man is ready to call a real woman he doesn't know a "stupid b*", what will he do to an AI woman? Honestly, I'm worried about hate towards women in AI porn because there's nobody there to police these disturbed men and make them realize that what they're doing is wrong. Correct me if I'm wrong, but has anyone ever been banned from an AI porn website?
The deepfakes are even worse… I know a girl who got into a serious depression after her ex started sharing fake nudes of her. Everybody thought they were real… So yeah, I think AI porn, at the moment, is still unethical in many ways. Not against it, just think there's a lot of fixing-up to do."
3. OnlyFans AI Creator: "AI porn can objectify women, but so does traditional porn"
"For me, AI porn is as unethical as real porn. Can AI porn objectify women? For sure! But so does traditional porn. Every time a new technology appears, people start wondering if it's safe or not. But that's just how people respond to new things: they don't know them, so they're afraid of them.
A man who uses AI porn unethically will also use normal porn unethically and will probably treat his female co-workers in an unethical way. I think we should invest in educating people about these problems instead of believing that the issue lies in the technology. I guess what I'm trying to say is that people are unethical, and machines (like AI) are not."
Is AI Porn Ethical? A Summary
Different perspectives on the ethics of AI-generated adult content
It's interesting how each OnlyFans creator had a different opinion to share about the ethics of AI porn. Here's a summary of what they had to say:
- Creator 1 thinks AI porn is unethical because it unfairly appropriates the work of real adult-industry professionals.
- Creator 2 thinks AI porn is unethical because it validates mysoginistic behaviors by not sanctioning them.
- Creator 3 has a more "meta" approach, believing that technology is not unethical, but they wat it is used can be so.
Interestingly enough, all three creators believe AI porn can be dangerous, but for very disparate reasons. It's impossible not to identify some bias in their responses, as the established OnlyFans creator was mainly worried about her professional compensation, and the AI creator (the main supporter of AI porn) makes a living by creating AI porn! When considering the landscape of AI girlfriend platforms, these perspectives highlight the complex relationship between technology and human sexuality.
However, even with some implied bias, these opinions paint a vivid picture of why AI porn can be so controversial sometimes. When we use dirty talking AI, for example, we are often given free rein to act in any way we desire without ever being blocked from the platform. Nowadays, even the "kinkiest" porn sites have stronger safety measures than the average AI sexting website. These concerns become even more relevant when exploring NSFW AI platforms that lack proper content moderation.
Our take on the matter? AI porn is not unethical in itself, but it needs to work harder to prevent and sanction unethical behaviors that may occur. This includes generating deepfakes or real people (one of the top concerns), treating AI women abusively, or using AI chats to explore their racist, misogynistic, or xenophobic views.
Like creator 2 has rightfully put it, we're "Not against it [AI porn], just think there's a lot of fixing-up to do."
However, the right way to improve AI porn websites is by accepting them, not treating them as something that needs to be banned or shielded away from society. After all, AI porn is going nowhere, so we have no other option but to face the ethical problems that come with it head on. Understanding the technology that powers AI girlfriend servers can help us build better, more ethical platforms.
