To join Botify AI, you just need to visit their official website and click on "Sign In" in the top right corner of the page. Registration takes less than one minute, especially if you sign in using your Google account.

These tokens function as Botify AI's virtual money and can be used to perform several actions on the website and app (including creating custom AI chats). Once the "Energy" runs out, Botify AI users can simply buy new tokens or subscribe to one of the available premium packages.

If you're looking for a Expressive Conversation AI platform where engaging conversations are the norm, Botify AI is probably not the best option. The majority of supported chats are actually safe for work, even though some of the characters, like Dominatrix, seem to have a taste for AI interactive messaging:

The problem is that once you start messaging AI chatbots like Dominatrix on Botify AI, you quickly realize that they are not prepared to explore mature topics. Take Joi, for example:

All we did was ask her to tell us more about her personal fantasies, and she rapidly diverted the topic. Compare this to the best AI romantic chatbots, and it's clear that Botify AI simply doesn't have what it takes to fulfill the needs of users who are hungry for some online unrestricted interactions.

So, Botify AI chats aren't great for interactive messaging or roleplay, but are they fun?

To generate any sort of in-chat media, users are expected to pay at least 100 "Energy", meaning they can't even test the animation feature with a free account.

Luckily, Botify AI has an option for users to create custom AI characters and design the chatbots they want exactly the way they want them. But is it up to the part? Let's see!

Creating Characters with Botify AI

To keep things fresh and authentic, we have decided to share with you the process of creating our very first AI chatbot on Botify AI. All we had to do was click on "Create AI Character" (left side of the page) to get things started. This was the first prompt requested by the character engine:

We clicked on "Girlfriend," and Botify AI suggested a random character personality that actually sounds pretty cool! The next step was to customize the character's look, with Botify AI providing two alternatives:

1. Gallery images: Users can upload an image of the AI girlfriend.
2. AI-generated image: Users can create brand-new AI images based on the prompts inserted into the engine.

We have selected the AI-generated image option, entered a few prompts, and clicked on "Generate". Botify AI provided us with two images, out of which we selected the Anime-styled one:

The last step is to provide essential information about the AI chatbot, including the following:

• Name and pronouns;
• Personality and backstory;
• Behavior instructions (how the character will respond to messages);
• Greeting (i.e., the character's first message);
• Style of photos (photorealistic or Anime).

We were also happy to find a very complete collection of voice samples to choose from in Botify AI's character engine. The funniest thing? You can add a male voice to a female character, and vice versa!

Once generated, the AI character becomes publicly available. Users can also edit their generated AI chatbots by pressing the icon with three dots at the top right corner of the chat and clicking "Edit Bot".

Over time, AI chatbots collect memories that can be revisited at any point by clicking on "Bot Memory".

To use Botify AI without limitations and unlock special roleplaying AI models, you need to buy one of the available premium packages. The best subscription is the Ultra package, but the cost is somewhat high when compared to other AI girlfriend platforms:

Botify AI Cons:

• Lack of extra features: Chatting with available characters and creating new AI chats—this is all you can do in Botify AI. We expected to find at least one or two extra features, such as a dedicated AI image generator or user gallery.
• No unrestricted content: If you're looking for AI interactive messaging, look elsewhere… Even though Botify AI supports unrestricted images for premium users, the chats take on an SFW approach that can limit user experience extensively.
• Incomplete character engine: Character personality can be heavily customized, but there's not much you can do when it comes to personalizing the look of the AI companion.

So, is Botify AI worth your money? In our opinion, the platform can be a good introductory service for AI companion newbies, but it won't do much for people looking for a more immersive AI girlfriend experience.
