For this reason, DarLink AI's pros and cons can be summed up in a sentence: it never under- or overperforms. User experience is enjoyable and familiar, the visual quality is there, and the generative tools can create beautiful images and videos.

Our honest opinion? DarLink AI would be an excellent free AI girlfriend site, but it just doesn't have enough quality or personality to justify paying for.

Unfortunately, most chats are tagged "Ultimate" or "Advanced", meaning they're exclusive to subscribers.

If you don't like any of the girls on DarLink AI's homepage, you can press "Create" to generate your own. The character generator is quite standard, but we like that it offers several options for relationship (girlfriend, wife, friend, etc.) and personality (caring, seductive, nympho, etc.).

After generating the companion, you can chat and create images of her. The AI character is also automatically set to public (even if you're using DarLink AI for free), meaning you can share it with friends.

The AI image and video generation tools deliver the goods without breaking the mold. Yes, we love that free users can test the engines without paying, but we wish that content generation were unlimited for premium users… Unfortunately, AI image and video generations rely on tokens known as Coins, which are limited to 100-500 per month.

Moreover, the generative tools are not the best for detailed customization. The prompt box is useful, but the settings are poor: all you can do is add a character… The best AI girlfriend sites, on the other hand, offer a combination of prompt and preset options in their generative tools.

Additionally, DarLink AI's three-tier subscription model raises some questions.
